Vanilla Popcorn

This is a really easy recipe it tastes
almost like caramel popcorn.
3 qts.popped popcorn
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup butter,cubed
1/4 cup light corn syrup
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
(1) Place popcorn in a large bowl;set aside.In a saucepan,combine the sugar,butter and corn syrup.Bring to a boil over medium heat;boil and stir until mixture is golden,about 2 min.
(2) Remove from the heat;stir in baking soda and vanilla.Pour over popcorn and toss to coat.Cool slightly;break apart while warm.

Berry Cream Muffins

Berry Cream Muffins
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup sugar
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1-1/2 cups fresh or frozen raspberries
or blueberries*
2 eggs,lightly beaten
1 cup (8 oz.) sour cream
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
(1) In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder and salt;add berries and toss gently.Combine the eggs, sour cream,oil and vanilla; mix well.Stir into dry ingredients just until moistened.
(2) Fill greased muffin cups two-thirds full.Bake at 400 for 18-22 min. or until a toothpick coms out clean.Cool for 5 min. before removing from pan to a wire rack.Serve warm.
Yield: about 1 dozen*Berry Cream Lemon Muffins:Prepare muffins as directed,except substitute 1 cup lemon yogurt for the sour cream and add 2 tsp. grated lemon peel with the vanilla.
* Berry Streusel Muffins: Prepare muffin recipe as directed.For topping, combine 3 Tbsp.each all-purpose flour and quick-cooking oats, 2 Tbsp. sugar and 1/8 tsp. ground cinnamon.Cut in 2 Tbsp. cold butter until crumbly.Sprinkle over muffins before baking.
* I used mixed berries and they turned out fine.

Pretty Pictures!
Hope everybody enjoys the pics,I just took most of them today.I had just given Kylee a bath last night because she was all muddy and then she went swimming twice today so I had to give her another one.Our neighbor said that if you get up earlier in the morning (I'm guessing like around 5 or 6) you sometimes can see DOLPHINS :) and not so nice alligators:( so thats neat maybe we'll be able to see them somtime.I promise I'll take a pic for you Kali!

FINALLY!!!!!!!
FINALLY!!!!!! You are probably wondering why I am saying that.Well this is about the fourth blog I have made because the other ones wouldn't work.Come to find out the names I had picked weren't available!(grrrrrr) :) After a week of wondering why it wouldn't work.So that's why I was saying FINALLY!!!!!! :)
